CALIPER PACKING INSTRUCTIONS:

1.  Call HQ at 562-528-8200 to let us know your calipers are on the way. Our rebuild experts will ask you a few questions about your needs and get the ball rolling on your rebuild.

2.  Choose a suitable strength box to ship your calipers to HQ. We recommend double boxes to ensure safe transport of your parts. Make sure the calipers are held in place with appropriate filler material. This will prevent damage during shipment and also protects the box from internal damage and loss.

3. Remove all residual brake fluid and seal each caliper in a plastic bag. Large ziplocks work great for this purpose. If your calipers are too large, heavy plastic bags that have been taped or zip tied closed will work great. Brake fluid will destroy cardboard in minutes and can cause package failure and content loss. Double bag if necessary.

4. Make sure that the calipers are packed in a way to prevent damage to bleeder screws or other critical components. Bleeder screw extraction can be expensive and damage is preventable.

5. Choose your preferred carrier and send your cores to HQ. We have had great success using USPS flat rate boxes. Make sure that the caliper cores are packed tightly into each package to prevent damage and loss.
